Last date of IGNOU Re registration

The re registration process for July 2023 session has been started by IGNOU in the month of April. The last date to fill up re registration form for July session is 15th July 2023. As soon as the university will update the last date of re registration, we will update it here.

Who should fill up IGNOU re registration form?

Those students who have to take admission in 2nd Year or 3rd year of their programme are required to fill up re registration form.It is applicable for UG and PG programmes with minimum duration of 2 Year or 3 Year.

Irrespective of whether the students have submitted the assignments or they are going to appear in the Term end exam of previous year or not, they should re-register them for 2nd or 3rd year.Otherwise, they can lose their precious six months.

How to apply for IGNOU re-registration ?

Earlier, the students were asked to download IGNOU re registration form from the university official website at www.ignou.ac.in. Then, they had to fill it and submit it to their concerned regional centre along with prescribed fee. The fee had to be deposited in the form of Bank Demand draft.

But now, the process of re registration has become online for most of Under Graduate & Post Graduate programmes like BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, MA, M.Com, M.Sc., MCA, etc. Students have to fill up IGNOU Online re registration form July 2023 to get admission in 2nd or 3rd year of their programme.

Important Note:

1. However, there are few programmes like PGDHRM,PGDFM,PGDOM,PGDMM and PGDFMP for which students have to fill up application form via offline mode at concerned Regional Centre.
2. The foreign National students cannot apply online for re registration. They have to fill up application form Offline. The online system is activated for Indian Nationals Only.

The University has made it very simple for the students to apply for re registration process.Now, they don’t need to make bank demand draft for fee submission.They just need internet access to fill up application form and submit fees.

IGNOU Re registration Procedure – Submit application form online

Below, we have mentioned easy steps to submit IGNOU online re registration form July 2023. Students should read each and every step carefully before submitting application form online. These are as follows:

Step 1: Please open up website: https://onlinerr.ignou.ac.in/

Step 2: If the students are applying for first time, then they should first click on “Available Programme”  tab on homepage of the website to read complete information about courses (compulsory or electives),credits, lab, project work. Also, they can check out eligibility criteria, fee details, duration, etc.

Step 3: After that students are advised to download IGNOU prospectus 2023 and read it carefully to get more information about university rules and processes.

Now, till this step students will get all the required information about the programme and its related courses.Now, it’s time to move on to next step and complete the re registration process.

Step 4: To start with IGNOU re registration online, students are required to click on “Apply Online Re-Registration Form” link and fill up the required registration details. It will look like as image shown below:

Step 5: In the next step, students have to select their programme, enter their enrolment number and captcha and then click on “Submit” button.

Step 6: After entering all the required details and clicking on Submit button, students will be redirected to next page where students need to select the courses for 2nd or 3rd year for which they are going to re register.

Step 6: In the previous step, students will select their respective courses and click on save to move on to next step. In this step, they have to check and confirm their details.

Step 7: After completing all the above steps, the students have to choose the mode of payment to pay IGNOU re registration fee online.They can pay their examination fee by making use of Credit/Debit card or Net Banking.It has been shown below:

After submitting the application form and fee successfully, the students will receive the confirmation email and SMS from the university regarding acceptance of the Re Registration form. IGNOU Re Registration Fees Structure

Students can check out re registration fee structure of any programme while filling up application form for second or third year. It may differ from fees which students have paid while taking admission in first year.

The university reserves the right to change re registration fee structure at any point of time during the studies.So, the students are advised to check out latest fee structure and adhere university rules.
